You will first have to download the Chechirp app prior to the setup process, which is pretty straightforward and very easy to setup. Once you complete setup you will receive a couple of confirmation emails and one email with a video link to show you how to use the device. The video is easy to follow and will handy to have on standby when using the device for the first time. Once you are doe with adding your child's name and interest info into the dice everything quickly falls into place and subsequently become intuitive. When you turn the device o for the first time for your child, the device's voice guided assistant will give the child a brief tutorial on how to use and communicate with the device. From that point my grand daughter (4yrs) was on her way to story adventure land - meaning I was no longer of use. This device is well constructed and built to last. It's just the right size and weight for small hands. This device is not just a toy, the programming is Ai driven and encourages the child to listen, imagine and contribute to the story though conversation. This device AI assistant functins well, speaks clearly and seems to respond accurately to your child's input. This device is amazing and once your child hears the AI assistant use their name, the child will be amazed too. I thinks that the price of this device is very fair. This Chechirp learning device is a good buy.

I absolutely love this device! I got it for my 6-year-old daughter, and it’s been such a fun and engaging experience for her. The concept is amazing, she gets to jump into the stories and actually be the main character, using her own voice to drive the adventure forward. It keeps her entertained in such a creative way without relying on screens, and I love that it encourages active listening, thinking, and problem-solving.The stories are well-written and really engaging, and I appreciate that they’re crafted by professional children’s authors. I also like the safety aspect, everything is preset and secure, so I don’t have to worry about random content. The device itself feels well made and easy to use once you get started.That said, there are a few minor things worth noting. Some of the instructions in certain storylines can be a little vague, and I imagine firmware updates will smooth out a couple of small bugs in the future. Still, once you get the hang of it, the experience is amazing. My daughter has been thoroughly enjoying it, and I’m so glad to have found something that combines fun with skill-building.

This little thing is amazing and powerful. My daughter is 8 and she loves it very much. She'll just sit there for quite a while and listen to it, talk to it and listen to it answer her. It asks their name on the app that parents set up for them on our own device or their's... and then it interacts with them, using their name in the stories. Very amusing and fun, to say the least. I love it! Definitely recommend this product.

The product I'm reviewing is the Kids Interactive Audio Games, the Next-Gen Interactive Audio Adventure, Audio Game Console story toys,Birthday Gift for Age 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 boy & girl Screen-Free Fun Educational 2.4G Wi-Fi Only.To start, the items included in the box were the "console" itself, three story cards, a quick start guide and a short usb-a to usb-c charging cable. Also, this is the first of this type of product I've acquired and tested so my impressions are based off of that and not comparisons to comparable devices or alternatives.After charging, you need to download the Chechirp app from the app store in order to connect the device to a 2.4 GHz compatible wireless access point and setup an account. Within the app you can assign a child's name, view your library and even review the interactions your child has had during the story including the story told and their responses which I think is nice.The device is built fairly well but the controls felt a bit unresponsive and the interactions with the mic button for communication isn't intuitive. You need to first press the button when a response is expected, wait for the light to flash on the mic button which means it is listening and then, when done speaking, press the mic button again to submit.Responses came fairly quickly and the content was always centered around the story with unrelated responses either ignored or redirected to the story which I really appreciate so I can feel comfortable letting my child play with headphones on or without direct supervision.As far as the story content went, it was imaginative, fun and engaging with freedom to explore different options which a fixed story or a book just wouldn't do. Making up a story for your children all focused around a predetermined plot which I find really impressive.Each story is fairly short, it only took a few minutes for my child to finish one and then navigate to the next, having finished each card in about 30 minutes. Due to the nature of the device and stories, they can be replayed multiple times but might require some active engagement and encouragement for repeats to get the most out of the cards.Summarily, the build quality is pretty good. The cards are sturdy, battery life was never an issue and the small screen for navigation and supplementary visual story-telling in static images helped to spark the imagination. The voices coming through were emphatic and engaging but the custom name translated in a much less eloquent fashion and was a bit jarring - perhaps that is just my daughter's name though. The device doesn't come with any subscription, you only need to buy a new story card which I appreciate. However, at the time of this review I couldn't find the cards on Amazon and only on their website for $9.99 for each story card - which is a bit expensive but I'd prefer that to a subscription. For the price, I recommend it as an engaging, safe and fun story-telling device for your children.

What a creative idea! The thought process that went into this was so imaginative. You do need to download the app but that was no big deal. After helping my grandson the first time, he no longer needed me. He will definitely benefit from future purchases of cards.It’s a steep price for sure, but the entertainment value and enjoyment he gets is worth it. TheThe body is sturdy and appears like it will hold up well. This includes the charging cord and some instructions, but the app is the best place to learn how to use it. I also like how it interacts with the child but steers them away from inappropriate conversation.Definitely a good learning toy for kids.
